For me this ticks all the boxes on the 'top notch design' list. Visually arresting, wholly imformative, if you're interested in the UK's average rainfall between 1971 & 2000 that is, and full of little design gems - like it's designed to look like a downpour of rain, the bars are plotted directly over the weather stations that they relate to and that gives us an abstracted map of the UK - bloody genuis!
