National Front
Which came first?
Understanding the story.
Hold the Encore.
Three things i wrote down on an empty Rizla packet last night when i was at the National gig at the Astoria. Now, blatently i wanted these titbits to remind me about something and blatently i was pissed because i was at a gig. I'm still trying to work out what my booze addled brain was telling me. I'll get back to you at some point.
And this is kinda what it was like...

The youth of today
Just got back from ATP vs The Fans. I've been before but for the uninitiated this is a alternative music weekender held at Butlins in Minehead. Basically it's an opportunity to see some proper cutting-edge music in a venue that is the bastard son of a motorway service station and a Bingo hall.
It's quite something. Oh, and the staff/security are the pikiest (?) mutha fookers you're ever likey to meet.
Anyhoo, the above is YouthMovies who are a very talented bunch of young men.

Caterpillar to windmill to moonwalk to roundhouse kick...
... to backflip to smack toddler in the face so hard she somersaults off of the ground. Textbook.
Six pints and a penalty shoot out
The fact that i purposely wasn't drinking Stella lasting night doesn't seem to have made a blind bit of difference - horrible, horrible, horrible. And my team lost the first penalty shoot out i can remember caring about for years - horrible.
I wish we had this guy.
And just to prove it wasn't a lucky fluke...

The Diversity of Life

E.O. Wilson is one the world's eminent Biologists and Ecologists. The man knows a thing or two about species and speciation and has now embarked on an ambitious digital project - to give one electronic page to each of the Earth's 1.8 million species of organism. He aims to complete the task in around 10 years which, if you're a nature boy like myself, is still a bit tardy - Come on Wilson, get your finger out your arse.

Foxes Rock

So i came home tonight to find our local fox asleep in the back garden. Like most urban animals she's super chilled and didn't give a toss that i was only a couple of feet from her.
What i didn't realise until now is that her earth was under next door's shed and she has six very cute cubs. They didn't give a toss about me being there either so i got a few cool photos.

By the skin of our teeth

So we're in the play-offs. I think we can win them. I wish the love of my footballing life was still playing though.
Actually, at about the time this photo was taken (must be early in his career as he's blatently not a fat bastard) my sister was Le Tiss's hairdresser, Fact!
He also dumped his wife and kids for a girl that went to my school, Fact!
Light em up

This short was done by a good friend of mine and his creative partner - both of whom worked on 28 Days Later, which is where they took their inspiration. Clever boys.
