More than one Wacko
I'm a massive fans of conspiracy theories. Not that i particularly believe any of them, but lets face it , they're a lot of fun.
Here's a particular favourite, posted in the Subway stations near the site of the Twin Towers...

More about it here which has nothing to do with conspiracy theories at all.

Gleaming The Cube this is not
I used to skate a lot, until i was about 30 in fact. And in my mind, Gleaming the Cube is not only the greatest skate film ever made but also Christian Slater's finest hour.
I'm joking of course. That honour goes to Plan B's seminal Questionable video - without doubt!
Here's some Mullen from said film
However, below is the intro from the new Girl video, and boy o' boy have the production values increased since the early 90's - even if the skating seems more or less the same standard.

I've seen the future...
... and it's in 3D.

Remember that scene in Big, the one where Tom Hanks is poking his head out of the Limo sun-roof. Well now you too can be The Hanks, straight from your desktop.
And here's the technology that makes it all happen.

I've mentioned before that i like to do a bit of fishing. So i thought i'd share a wonderful resource for the angler who can't be arsed to get out in the garden (that's not me btw). They do maggots too - straight to your office or home.O' the fun that could be had.
Maggots from £5.25 a pint
Worms from £8.95 1/4 kg
Gift certificates are also available (no seriously, they are!)

Helen Chamberlain certainly knows her arrows
Last night i was at the PDC World Darts Final at Ally Pally - lots of fun, lots of beer bellies.
Here's the message i sent to my CD

Helen Chamberlain, she of Soccer AM, was sitting opposite me with a couple of mates.
This is her
Anyhoo, i asked my soon-to-be-brother-in-law Thomas, how the cameramen know when a player is 'going down for 19s' and Chamberlain piped up with an answer.
In short, Bristow and Deller are behind the scenes telling the cameramen what the likely next shot is. And there was me thinking that all there was to offer a retired Pro darts player was a pub lardlordship (i meant landlord but perhaps this name is more appropriate) hustling unsuspecting punters in games of 101.
Thanks Helen - there's no need to be so mardy when you're asked who scored for Torquay though!
