How to waste an hour or ten

As addictive as the wonderful Line Rider. Which by the looks of it has grown up a little since i first played around with it this time last year.

"Beware the devil woman, she's gonna get you"

CLIFF SAYS….

Devil Woman”, one of the most sultry and moody of all my hits, was released way back in 1976. Today, what more apt a description for our new heady and alluring evening fragrance, so evocative of the song’s sentiment."

Well, that's my Mum's Christmas present sorted - genius!

Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir is an Icelandic Photographer - and if i looked that good i'd be taking lots of self portraits too.

Lee Miller: Snapper or Slapper?

Went to the Lee Miller exhibition at the V&A the other night. What a truly remarkable woman she was too, i wish i'd had the opportunity to meet her. She got about a bit mind you - she knock off these two chaps for a start.

If you can, you should go.

Walter Potter & The Guinea Pig's Cricket Match

I've just had a crafty squizz at today's Guardian and there's an article in G2 about Walter Potter. Potter was a Victorian Taxidermist who's work is trippy to say the least. Apparently Tripmaster General Damian Hurst wanted to buy a load for £1m.

I'd love to see this for real.

More here.

Photo Comp

Ever since i went to the Hockney exhibition last year and saw his amazing Polaroid composites i've wanted to have a go at it myself. This stuff from Patrick Winfield is also excellent. Not sure i'll get results as good as these but the crossbow bolt of inspiration has been fired and i'm off to buy some film right now!

Tattoo-ine

If there's one really cool thing about blogs and bloggers it's the number of niche interests they cover, something that even the hardcore traditional publishers couldn't hope to fulfill.

Take The Force in the Flesh for instance - a blog dedicated to Star Wars inspired body art!

Weird Science

Safe and Painless Manipulation of Penile Zipper Entrapment

(Satish Chandra Mishra; Charak Palika Hospital; 2005)
A quick, simple and non-traumatic approach to penile zipper entrapment

"Entrapment of penile foreskin is quite a distressing situation for the child and the parents and can be a frustrating management problem. Any overzealous intervention would simply worsen the situation. Also, attempts to cut open the zip fastener are time taking and may not be either helpful or feasible in all the situations. The approach to the zipper manipulation should be quick, simple, non-traumatic and reproducible irrespective of the age of the child, mechanism and site of entrapment, presence of the local edema and zipper size or design."

More Radiohead Home Recordings

These boys really know how to embrace the internet.

Curiously Incongorous

Really, really nice stuff from all four corners of this fair city of ours. I strongly recommend every Londoner spend some time on this site - excellent work Eric.

Hook, line & sinker

I go fishing quite a lot when i can be bothered. So this caught my eye when it was sent to me (thanks Jim). The thing i like best about this $1,000,000 game fishing lure is not the 'just over 3 pounds of glimmering gold and platinum, encrusted with 100 carats of diamonds and rubies (4,753 stones to be exact)'

It's the fact that you can actually add it to your cart and buy it online - as if!

Brake Fast

I cycle to work in central London on a regular basis. A wild, overly competitive environment where getting to work in second place just will not do. I hate almost all other cyclists during these frantic 45 minutes.

Perhaps we could all do with one of these on our handlebars?

And...

i'm back in the room.

Forgot i was meant to be blogging for a week or two there.
